New Life/After/Denim Just in Time for Fall

In the past century the term “casual” in American sportswear has undergone a massive change from the original meaning of “not a suit” to the current comfortable and sometimes underdressed aesthetic.  We're offering a polished take on this causal style.  Life/After/Denim aims to provide new classic wardrobe staples with impeccable fabrication and fit at a price point that won’t break the bank.  Their Fall/Winter season takes inspiration from vintage Ivy League athletics.

The Workshirt

We love the versatility of a workshirt because it can be worn as is or layered as a lightweight jacket.  It offers more structure and texture to a casual look.

Saturated Color

Life/After/Denim offers rich “Yale” blue and “Harvard” burgundy paired with flashes of marigold and “pigskin brown.”  This strong color palette works well with many of the great pieces you have in your current wardrobe like denim or chinos.

Stripes

An emphasis on stripes are a nod to the original “Rugby Stripe.”  One of our favorite pieces is the Varsity Cardigan, which features a subtle stripe and beautiful texture.  It is also an essential layering piece as it gets colder.
