Introducing Four One Oh Salon and Brunette & Co Boutique
Since QG’s inception as an upscale barbershop, we have been rightly seen as geared towards men. It was my belief in 2005 that men needed an alternative to the basic barbershop on the level with women’s salons. Although many may have gotten the impression in the beginning that we were men only or unfriendly to women, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. From the beginning, it was women who encouraged their husbands, sons, fathers, and boyfriends to give us a try. Many don’t realize that QG would not be possible without the love and encouragement of two women in my life. I was inspired to start the business by my mother’s passing and the Q in the QG stands for her maiden name, Quinn as in Quinntessential; and my wife who without her support, the QG simply would not be possible. Regina and I have also been blessed with two amazing daughters, Joanna and Bridget.
With that being said, our vacancy on the fourth floor allowed us the unique opportunity to partner with two successful women entrepreneurs. I’d like to introduce to you the owners, Taylor Salandra of Four One Oh Salon and Brianna Volatile of Brunette and Co Boutique. They will be operating a full service salon focused on women’s color, cuts, nails and eyelash extensions and a fashion forward women’s clothing, accessories, and gift boutique. We are excited that you can refer your wives, mothers, girlfriends, coworkers and daughters to a floor dedicated to women. Maybe after her and your service or shopping, you can meet up at Clock Bar for a bite and cocktail.
Currently the fourth floor will be operating Tuesday through Saturday and hours vary from day to day. For hours and appointments, visit their websites at www.fouroneohsalon.com and brunetteco.com. Access is available through the elevator or via the spiral staircase on the 5th floor retail when open. They are welcoming tours of the space right now. With Mother’s day coming on Sunday, take a look at their gifting and gift certificate options!
